She`s hungry all the time

Sometimes she stops, then she looks at me, straight in my eyes and give me the biggest and most beautiful smile I`ve even seen
I love breastfeeding
I don`t have as much time to be online as I had before Alice was born because she just want to stay in my arms all the time... and she has been crying a lot lately... It`s so hard because nothing I do make her stop...


I don`t understand Italian, almost nothing, so I use the google translation because you can put entire posts there... but it doesn`t translate all the words and sometimes things doesn`t make any sense so I`m afraid to undestand something wrong and give a stupid reply... but I`m trying to get over this fear

we'll never think you're stupid or something just because you don't understand the translation.
I used google too, sometimes, but it doesn't traslate the sense of the sentence just the words...so don't be shy.
You can also ask and tell whatever you want in these topics in english.

I`m trying to be less shy.

I`m so in love with Alice... every night without sleep, every hour hearing her cry, everything is so worth when I look at her. Sometimes when I`m breastfeeding her she stops, look me in the eyes and give the most beautiful smile I`ve ever seen. I cry sometimes because it`s so good (and I`m still so emotional, I think it`s the hormones... LOL)


Hi Ile!!! I`m not having a lot of time to be online, I have to choose one thing to see when I can be online. I`m trying to catch up my reading in Chlex fics, that`s why I`m a little absent here.
But I`m fine, a little tired because Alice never sleeps before 2am, I don`t know whatelse to do because she just doesn`t sleep and I`m like a ghost... During the day she almost never sleeps either, only 15 minutes, maybe 20. Being a mom is wonderful but I`m still a little lost. LOL
She`s my first baby. My husband already have a son from a one night stand he had before we met.
I try not to take her in my arms, I put her on the sofa, on her "car", on a chair that has some toys hanged... but she doesn`t like and starts to cry after 10 minutes. So I have to look at her, play with her and talk to her all the time so she can stay in those places more time.
I`m having a lot of pain in my back and arms because she`s heavy, almost 7 kgs, that`s why I try not to take her all the time.

hey Malu! it's normal! 7 kg always in your arms is totally tiring, i belive u! well i think you do the best thing..with talking to her and let her down, try with the music too!! soon or later she start to play and she gonna give u more free time! i hope ...
and for the night! normally the baby have to sleep like 4 hour at minimum! she dosen't sleep at all???? or she change the day for the night??? i know it's devastating dosen't sleep! i have my best friend with 5 month baby! and i was living the last 3 month with her! well for me you have to try to sleep every time she sleep, and if you can, try to hold her awake during the day! a BIGGGG KISSS! to u and your angel Alice!

The problem is that she almost never sleeps during the day, only a few naps of 10, 15 minutes. Babies have to sleep during the day, in her age from 5 to 6 hours (2 or 3 naps), so they can sleep well at night. The more she sleeps, better she sleeps. And at night, she never sleeps before 2, 3 am (when she sleeps is until 6 or 7 am, I breastfeed her without awaking her, then she sleeps until 9 or 10 am, again breastfeed without awaking her and she sleeps again until 12 or 13 pm).
I`m trying to put her to sleep sooner... let`s see if it works

So far, not many changes... she keeps me busier everyday. She really doesn`t like to sleep. I started a diet without cow milk and things related to it to see if her problem can be an allergy. I talked to a girl at orkut who told me that her daughter was just like Alice and that was her problem. But it doesn`t show results before 4 or 5 weeks of diet. I started September 1st.
And you, is everything ok?

Yes Malu, all is ok! i just pass 3 day with influence but im all right now! i'm searching for a job and soon or later i have to start a diet!
